Enter the Euro-Toques Young Chef of the Year 2016
The theme of this year’s competition is ‘Inspiration.’ Entrants must use their creativity to demonstrate which chefs and restaurants, past or present, in Ireland or abroad, have inspired you in your career and why? You may reference a recipe, a signature dish, a signature style, a culinary innovation, or even something abstract that simply represents a chef, restaurant or culinary movement. All you need is your creativity and your passion for food!
How to Enter
- If you haven’t already, read all the important information about the competition HERE
- Make your Social Media Entry (see below)
- Fill in the ONLINE ENTRY FORM (see below), including links to your entry on social media
(make sure you get a confirmation message that your form has been received)
You can make and submit your entry anytime between Tuesday 6th September and the competition closing date, Wednesday 21st September at 12 noon.
CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES STRICTLY
Wednesday 21 SEPTEMBER at 12 Noon.
No entries will be accepted after this time.
We recommend you work on your entry early and don’t leave it until the last minute to submit. If you have any questions regarding the entry process, please ensure that you contact us well in advance of the closing date.

Share your entry with us on our Facebook and Instagram pages too if you want, so more people can see your brilliant ideas! If using Instagram you can share your images with us by using #youngchef2016. We would love to share your ideas with our followers!
You can use whatever media you like in your tweet entry, however, all content must be your own original work. If you use video/image belonging to a third party, your entry must clearly show why it fits within the context of your own original idea.
