Enter the Euro-Toques Young Chef of the Year 2017
The theme of this year’s competition is Back to Basics: Olde Skool Cooking.
Entrants must use their creativity to demonstrate their culinary skills, focusing on basic, simple techniques. We want to see raw talent at its best and push young chefs to stick to what today is considered ‘old school cooking’. Skills and techniques are the fundamentals oF any cuisine and it is only by building solid foundations that young chefs can develop their style and become creative.

- Fill in the ONLINE ENTRY FORM, including links to your entry on social media
When submitting your online entry form, please make sure you receive a confirmation message that your form has been received.
You can submit your entry anytime between Monday 12th June and Tuesday 1st August at 12 noon.

Tuesday 1st August at 12 noon. No entries will be accepted after this time.

TWEET US YOUR IDEAS to @eurotoquesirl with 140 inspired characters in the form of words, image and/or using hashtag #YC2017
POST ON INSTAGRAM to @eurotoques_ireland with pics, videos and/or words using hashtag #YC2017
YOUR ENTRY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNLESS YOU USE THE HASHTAG #YC2017
Example: “Forget about waterbaths! Here is some proper old-style braising #YC2017”
You can use whatever media you like in your entry, however, all content must be your own original work. If you use video/image belonging to a third party, your entry must clearly show why it fits within the context of your own original idea.
