Euro-Toques Young Chef of the Year 2016

This is Ireland’s premier culinary competition for young chefs, in search of Ireland’s best new talent. A top chef shows not only skill but also creativity, flair and a passion for good ingredients.
The competition makes you dig deep creatively, first in writing – with a written entry comprising a recipe and an explanation of your concept and thought process – then by interview, and finally in the kitchen with TWO separate skills tests: the first assessing general competency, the second assessing everything! The finalists take our theme, their passion and their skill, and cook off two courses before a panel of expert judges – this year including special guest judge NATHAN OUTLAW, 2 Star chef-patron of Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, Port Isaac, Cornwall.
